Broadcasting live from Nottingham Contemporary, 15 June, 2.30pm, a specially created artist production crew will direct the pilot for a TV talk show.
Hosted by artist and Social Media Takeaway presenter Bruce Asbestos, invited experts will speak on a variety of subjects around the history of artist broadcasting.
Speakers include:
Johan Grimonprez (Director of the iconic Dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y)
Kris Paulsen (Assistant Professor, Film and Media, The Ohio State University)
Colin Perry (Reviews Editor, Moving Image Review & Art Journal)
This event will be broadcast live online by a specially created artist production crew including Vanilla Galleries, Superlative TV & AKGBtv

We’ve been working on two events that are taking place in The Space at Nottingham Contemporary this June:
Friday 14 June, 12pm – 7pm
A screening of artists’ works Made For TV will be presented on monitors in The Space including works by John Hoppy Hopkins, Ilene Segalove, Ann Magnuson, Stuart Marshall, General Idea and Michael Smith.
15 Jun 2013, 2pm – 5pm
Taking the form of a pilot for a TV talk show, invited experts will speak on the subject of artist broadcast include Johan Grimonprez, Kris Paulsen and Colin Perry. This event will be broadcast live online by a specially created artist production crew. Book a space in the audience.
