6 artists have been commissioned to make all new site-specific artwork to be discovered amongst the permanent exhibits in the beautiful Georgian building of Erewash Museum in Ilkeston. This 3 month exhibition includes an interactive sand sculpture, textile installations using local materials and a fragmented archive of a lost era in Erewash’s history.
Featuring work by Tether artists Samuel Mercer, Charlie Pratley and a collaboration between Hugh Dichmont & Chie Hosaka.
Exhibition Opening/Private View: Saturday 3rd May (All welcome)

Two months ago, Tether applied for a NAN Go and See Bursary to visit the Rednile group in North Tyne-side, in view to developing future collaborations.
Our application was successful, meaning Tether was able to visit Rednile last weekend for the first of their “Factory Nights” events, followed by a couple of days of discussions and viewings. For further information on Rednile and their Factory Nights, visit rednile.org
Keep checking back here for updates on future Tether Projects in the north-east.
